4. First aid measures

General information: In all cases of doubt or when symptons persist seek medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
After inhalation: Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. If respiratory problems, articial respiration / oxygen.Give nothing by mouth. If unconscious place in recovery position and seek medical advice
After skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing . Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. DO NOT use solvents or thinners.
After eye contact: Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. Hold eyelids apart.
After swallowing: Do not induce vomiting if swallowed chemical is dissolved in petroleum based material. Danger of aspiration and development of chemical pneumonia. Get medical attention. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS.

5. Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Powder.
For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing media: Water applied with jet.
Special Fire fighting proceedures: NOTE: Use air-supplied respirators to protect agaisnt gases/fumes. Decomposition products may be a hazard to health. Cool containers exposed to flames with water until well after the fire is out. Do not allow run off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

Person-related safety precautions: See Section 8 for personal protection
Measures for environmental protection: Do not allow to enter drains or water courses. If it does the local water authority should be contacted immediately, in the case of contamination of rivers or lakes the Environmental Agency.

7. Handling and storage

Handling:

Usage precautions: Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Vapours are heavier than air and may form explosive mixtures with air. Keep container tightly closed. Provide good ventilation.
Storage precautions: Qxidising material - Keep away from flammable and combustible materials. Store at moderate temperatures in dry, well ventilated area.

Ventilation: Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation
Respirators: If extraction methods are insufficient to maintain concentrations of particles and/or solvent vapours below relevant OELs, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be worn.
Protective gloves: For prolonged or repeated skin contact use suitable protective gloves
Eye protection: Wear splash proof eye goggles to prevent any possibility of eye contact.
Other Protection:

Wear appropriate clothing to prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact.
