A high performance strip sealant with excellent adhesion to metals and plastics..

USES

For side and end lap joint sealing in steel and aluminum Industrial Roofing and Cladding applications..

JOINT DESIGN

Good joint performance requires good initial contact between the strip and both surfaces of the joint. The cross section of the strip should be selected to accommodate the anticipated movement of the joint.

APPLICATION

Surface preparation: All surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from frost, grease and loose materials.
Priming: Primers are not required for good adhesion to most surfaces.
Application details: Apply directly from the reel onto one surface pressing to give adequate initial adhesion. Remove backing paper and apply other surface on to strip pushing firmly to ensure good contact with full area of strip along length of the joint.
Application temperature range: + 5'C to + 45'C

Rectangular sections available in thicknesses from 1mm to 12mm and widths from 6mm to 100mm.
